Head for "Newcastle,"
Once at Newcastle, Take the A1 North-bound for "Morpeth" and "Alnwick,"
Stay on the A1 and by-pass Morpeth and take the A697 for "Longhorsley,"
Follow this road for approx. 5 mils and carry on through Longhorsley where you will pass Linden Hall Golf Club on your right after approx. 1.5 miles.
Stay on this road for approx. 2.5 miles heading towards Weldon Bridge
After approx. 2 / 3 miles at the bottom of a steep hill in the Coquet Valley, turn left and take the B6344 for "Rothbury" at "Weldon Bridge."
You will pass Cragside gardens on your right hand side as you approach Rothbury after approx. 7 miles of beautiful winding roads
As you arrive in Rothbury you will see a new housing estate straight in front of you, turn left into Rothbury passing the local tennis courts on your left
Once in Rothbury turn left directly opposite Barlays Bank (which will be on your right hand side), this is Bridge Street
Follow the road over the bridge and take your immediate right following the road past the riverside carpark on your right
Follow the road up past the new Cottage Hospital & then Rothbury Golf Course entrance on your right to the top of the hill
Turn right at the top of the hill and take your first left approx. 100m along the road
Welcome to Coquetdale
Head for "Edinburgh,"
Once at Edinburgh, Take the A1 South-bound to "Berwick,"
Stay on the A1 and by-pass Berwick, and take the B6525 to "Woller,"
Once at Wooler, take the A697 South-bound for "Morpeth,"
After roughly 10 miles, turn right and take the B6341 for "Rothbury,"
You will pass Cragside gardens on your left hand side as you approach Rothbury
Continue down the hill into Rothbury. As you arrive in Rothbury you will see a new housing estate on your right. Continue straight ahead into Rothbury
Once in Rothbury turn left directly opposite Barlays Bank (which will be on your right hand side)
Follow the road over the bridge and take your immediate right following the road past the riverside carpark on your right
Follow the road up past the new Cottage Hospital & then Rothbury Golf Course entrance on your right to the top of the hill
Turn right at the top of the hill and take your first left approx. 100m along the road
Welcome to Coquetdale
Head for "Carlisle,"
Once at Carlisle, Take the A69 East-bound to "Hexham,"
Once at Hexham, Take the A68 North-bound heading towards Jedburgh
After approx. 7 miles, take the B6342 turning on your right heading north-east towardsWallington National Trust House & Grounds
Once at the Wallington National Trust House & Grounds, continue straight ahead towards Cambo
Once at Cambo, continue straight ahead on the B6342 passing through Rothley Lakes & Forestburn Gate
Once you pass the 'Rothbury Sign', turn left immediately before the local school, which will now be on your right hand side
Follow the road straight ahead through the local Hamlet of Whitton
Continue straight ahead, do not turn left down the hill towards Rothbury
Take your first left approx. 100m along the road overlooking Rothbury Golf Course
